The Fire Inspection Resource Exercise Simulation (F.I.R.E.S.) Program is a virtual reality program unlike anything that you will have experienced previously. It is based on a different set of assumptions about adult learning and the acquisition of knowledge and skills within the fire profession. The goal of the program is to give individuals the ability to conduct a building inspection in a competent fashion for the purpose of protecting the life and property of our citizens and making sure that Firefighters can operate safely and efficiently. This web seminar will provide an orientation to the F.I.R.E.S. program and give participants the opportunity to ask questions about successful program completion.

F.I.R.E.S. Proctor Training – Ten Steps to Program Implementation

This session will introduce department Proctors to their roles and responsibilities for successful implementation of the Fire Inspection Resource Exercise Simulation (F.I.R.E.S.) Program. The presenter will cover “Ten Steps to Implementation” and answer questions related to providing student support and program oversight.
